What price would you pay to live longer?
In this thought-provoking technothriller, a small, struggling pharmaceutical firm is in need of a major new product to survive. Led by a CEO desperate to achieve the fame and fortune he had always expected but had not yet gained, he and his firm are running out of time. On the precipice of bankruptcy, a technological breakthrough is close to fruition. They are in position to finally succeed, if they can only mobilize the resources to conduct a clinical trial that proves the product works. Then a reclusive businessman shows up to make a deal with the CEO. With no other options, the CEO strikes a bargain with his new mentor.
But did he lose his soul in a satanic bargain?
The clinical trial shows their genetically engineered product involving a gene called STK17A works beyond even their wildest imagination. After special friends of his mentor intervene to win necessary governmental approvals, the new product is released to the public. And it becomes a success like no other.
Suddenly, everything he had ever wanted was his: money, celebrity, a beautiful partner, a leading international business, he had it all. As time goes by, a discovery is made. Had the clinical trial missed something, or was information left out? Now, the product that had made his dreams come true, was going to change the world.
And not just change the world, but end it.
