Dying for God’s love”

Trapped in this cell on a hot summer’s night.

Got to get free so I can run to the light.

Time to baptize so I can get these souls clean,

Show them the way, just like they dream.

Jump out of this hell, hey-hey, free me!

Run to the Light.

I’ll show you the way,

I’m not going to hide.

Cause I’m trying,

Trying for God’s love.

Time to break out and escape all the hate.

This is my calling: I’ll show you the way

Enter Emmanuel—God is with us

The Deliverer sings, “Come into my house.”

Jump out of this hell, hey-hey, free me!

Run to the Light.

I’ll show you the way,

I’m not going to hide.

Cause, I’m dying,

Dying for God’s love.

Jump out of this hell, hey-hey, free me!

Run to the Light.

I’ll show you the way,

I’m not going to hide.
